Another Camping Trip!

 We headed out this past Friday on another camping trip! We loaded up and got on the road and had truck problems within the first 5 minutes... so we were sad and headed home... but then our brother in law, Brian, saved the day when he called and offered his truck to us for the weekend!! Thanks Brian!! 

Once we got the camper hooked up to Brian's truck, moved carseats, and loaded up allllll of the bikes and firewood... we finally got back on the road again! 

We camped at The Retreat RV & Camping Resort ! Nehemiah's Uncle James works at this new campground and was able to reserve spots for the whole family! We had a great time catching up with everyone and trying out the new campground on Lake Houston!

This boardwalk was my favorite! I had to get a family picture on it at sunset! Thanks Sharon!! 

Luke stole Nehemiah's coffee one morning and he was PROUD of himself! 

The kids had a blast playing in the sprinkler and then drying off in the sun!

This park has stagecoaches that you can stay in! They were so cool!!! 

We tried campfire cones and... they weren’t great! Lol They were a little more work AND they tasted like a campfire!

I wanted to try to make a peach cobbler in a Dutch oven in the fire... we were so excited to try!!! 

And we completely burnt it up! 🤣🤣
