Gender Reveal Party!

When we found out we were expecting, one of the first places we went was Wesley & Amber's house to share our news with them! They were so excited and  just a couple days later, I got a text saying they wanted to host a Gender Reveal Party for us! That seems like so long ago... but man... best idea ever! I'll probably say it a million times and they deserve every last "thank you," but seriously... Thank you Wesley & Amber!

Our doctor's appointment was on Thursday afternoon... Our Gender Reveal party was on Sunday afternoon. Those 4 days were some of the longest of my life!!! Nehemiah & I were SOOOOOO excited when we found out she was a girl!!! And we were even MORE excited to have a gender reveal party after we found out she was a girl, because literally EVERYONE thought we were having a boy! It couldn't have been more perfect!! Even after we found out what we were having, NO ONE even gave it a second thought that it could be a girl! So you can imagine the SHOCK when we cut the cake and it was... PINK!

 Amber did a FABULOUS job decorating!!! You can tell she LOVED every second of it! She used mason jars & the tree stump center pieces from our wedding! Such a special touch!

This area was so fun! The bandana banner was Nehemiah's idea!
Amber had Old Wives Tales Predictions in the middle... 5 out of 8 of them predicted a boy!
When people started getting their everyone "signed in" on the Team Girl and Team Boy boards!!!  

Emilie made this Ella or Luke cover for my frame... underneath had the name of our baby!!

Time to reveal!!! I was cutting the cake and Nehemiah was lifting off the cover of the frame!

So much joy & love for someone who isn't here yet! I can't imagine when she gets here! Our families will probably invent a new word for spoiled. haha
