Wedding Festivities Part 2: Rehearsal Dinner

The Sunday before the wedding, Mr. John, Nehemiah’s dad, was put in the hospital and had surgery. He had another surgery again on Wednesday, and then went home later that evening.

The plan was for the rehearsal to be at Dad & Julie’s (the location of the wedding) and then we would all head over to the Loftin’s house for the rehearsal dinner.

After we realized that Mr. John was going to be in the hospital for most of the week, Nehemiah & I decided to move the dinner to Dad & Julie’s house. We straightened everything out and even though that wasn’t the original plan, it worked perfectly.

We were all able to get the majority of “setting up” done for the wedding. Thanks to my bridesmaids & Nehemiah’s groomsmen, we got the dance floor set up, the tables & chairs for the reception, & the chairs for the wedding. Which my dad did an AMAZING job heading up that task. He had pipes & rope strung everywhere to make sure every single chair was in the perfect spot. I kept saying that it looked like professionals did it!

Our preacher was actually doing another wedding that night, so he wasn’t able to make it to our rehearsal. I will have to say that this was the most stressful part of all of the weddings jobs. It was fine that Tony wasn’t there, but that meant that me, the bride, had to be in charge. Haha… I went teacher mode on a few people, a few times. Haha… But in the end it worked perfectly and we could all tell that the ceremony would look amazing and go as planned.

Afterwards, we ate hamburgers & hotdogs, and some pre wedding cake! Delicious & fun!

I just enjoyed being with my family and friends!!!

Aunt Becky had t-shirts made for me & Nehemiah and our wedding party!! They were so cute!!!
We never did get a picture of everyone in the shirts but here’s a few!!
