It's been one whole year since little Luke came into the world! He was the best surprise baby boy we could have asked for!! We didn't find out if we were having a boy or a girl until he was born so I was completely shocked when we saw he was a boy!! Nehemiah and I both said "It's a boy!" and I just remember being like "WHAT?!" because I had convinced myself that we were having another girl!! I think I was in shock for a couple days but I wouldn't change anything about this sweet baby! He was so sweet from the start and nothing has changed!! He was THE best baby from birth to around 5 months! He slept all night, he was so content and happy, and he was happy to let anyone hold him! After about 5 months of that life he kind of changed his tune just a little. He's not as content to let anyone hold him anymore and for a while there he forgot that he liked sleep... but he finally remembered again. haha He is still the happiest and most content baby! He is extremely loved in this house! He weighs around 16 lbs and he has his 2 front teeth with the cutest big gap! We love watching him grow and learn and we are SO thankful for him!
Some of Luke's favorite things are:
-holding his ear and sucking his fingers when he is sleepy. It's beyond adorable!!
-animals! specifically goats and cows!
-his Daddy!! This is probably his favorite thing/person in the entire world! He yells DA! whenever he sees him!
-his bottle... although about a month ago this was one of his least favorite things! We transitioned to formula in March because he needed to gain some weight and it took us a solid month for him to learn to love it! But thank goodness we finally did it and he dances when he sees his bottle now!
-his sisters! Even though they think he is a baby doll and they can pick him up.... and aggravate him. lol
-he loves sleeping in his bed all night and taking long naps during the day! I'm so thankful he loves this! :)
